Another batch of photos from SXSW in Austin, TX, featuring 10 Years and more cool bands.  The highlight of Friday night was City And Colour's performance at Stubb's.  Runner up goes to Filter's set at Austin Music Hall.  Not because it was great.  More because it was such a train wreck that it was actually entertaining.  More can be found after the jump.

I don't know all the technical difficulties the band was having, but frontman Richard Patrick thought it was the '90s again and flailing around like a mad man.  He kicked over mic stands, kept calling Filter's first album, Short Bus, "retarded", and even grabbed a camera from a girl in the crowd to take pictures.  The show definitely had an old punk rock feel.

I also checked out Jack White's Third Man Rolling Record Store.  Not as big as I thought it would be.  It's still a pretty cool concept.  The DJ they had spinning was naturally playing Detroit bands like Electric Six, but she was also playing Missy Elliot, Ludacris, and a few other artists that I would not have expected.

A runner-up highlight was that my bus driver last night looked like Kevin James.  That was pretty cool.
