Two suspects in Kalamazoo have been arrested after breaking into a business on Palmer Avenue Saturday night.

MLive reports that police were called after the owner of the auto repair shop saw two people inside after hours on the security cameras.

One of the suspects, a juvenile, was apprehended after trying to escape out of a side door.

The other, a 19-year-old male, ran back inside. He attempted to escape by cutting through drywall into other businesses. He made it through 3-4 businesses before he was caught. A K-9 unit was able to track the man into a warehouse and found him hiding in the rafters.

Police have not indicated what the man used to cut through the walls.

Both suspects are in custody on charges of breaking and entering and resisting and obstructing police.
