Strippers in Battle Creek File Federal Lawsuit

According to WZZM, Exotic dancers at the Vegas Strip Gentlemens Club in Battle Creek are suing their former employer, stating they were not paid a fair wage and made to share their tips.

Dancers are claiming that the club didn't pay a minimum wage and forced them to share their tips with DJs and doormen.

The Federal lawsuit says the strip club violated the Fair Labor Standards Act by not treating the exotic dancers as employees but as independent contractors.

Vegas Strip Gentlemens Club has yet to comment.
