Steven Colbert Hosts Michigan Public Access Show, Eminem Makes Guest Appearance [Video]

Steven Colbert has some down time, with The Colbert Report ending in December, and he's got a few weeks before taking over CBS' Late Show.

So, the comedian and host decided to pass the time and prepare for his new gig by doing the coolest thing-- Colbert took over the Michigan public access TV show Only in Monroe and brought on Eminem as a guest!

Colbert takes his hosting duties seriously, really trying to get to the root of what makes Monroe a "Mon-Go"!

He delves into history of the Southeast Michigan town: "The place where mom clips America's mitten onto the sleeve of Indiana."

Eminem shows up around the 22 minute mark, (Yes, Colbert seriously does the whole 40 minute show!), as a "a local Michigander who is making a name for himself in the competitive world of music."
