A Golden Retriever in Spring Lake named Wesley was born with a bad set of choppers, but a enterprising veterinarian has come up with a solution: doggie braces.

On Saturday, Harborfront Hospital for Animals posted a story about Wesley and his overbite, which was causing him to have trouable eating. Since it is Doggie Dental Care Month (who knew?!), Dr. James Moore installed a set of braces on Wesley, and things are working out just fine.

“He wasn’t able to fully close his mouth and chew well and he stopped playing with his toys because of the pain and started losing weight because he couldn’t eat,” Molly Moore told ABC News of Wesley.

Lucky for Molly, her dad is James, the vet who performed the procedure. Wesley, in the meantime, seems to be enjoying his 15 minutes of fame.

Wesley's story was featured on Good Morning America this morning.
