Smashing Pumpkins Unveils ‘Being Beige’ Visuals [Video]
Smashing Pumpkins now have a visual representation of their latest single, 'Being Beige.' The band has offered up an artistic video, with a good portion of the clip shot in black and white while frontman Billy Corgan and guitarist Jeff Schroeder are shot in color.
The video above showcases some interesting visuals, with looks at moon craters, rippling water and blooming flowers getting a more distinct look with the black and white shots. Meanwhile, portions of a female body also turn up throughout, until it's revealed that the woman in question has a flame, mirroring the lyrics "the world's on fire" that are part of the song.
'Being Beige' is the first song released from the band's recent 'Monuments to an Elegy' album, though the group did offer a couple of more tracks online just prior to the disc's December release. The disc is currently available via Amazon and iTunes.
