Skillet came to rock the Intersection Oct. 6 with, Sick Puppies and Devour the Day!

The Intersection was absolutely packed that Thursday night, with everyone screaming and singing along.

Before launching into "Those Nights", Skillet frontman John Cooper gave some insight into his inspiration behind the song, along with a little history lesson:

This next song is going to be fun! I wrote this song because one magical night I realized that if we brought our little TV up next to the big TV in my best friends' house, we realized that we would not have to stop playing 'Castlevania' in order to watch 'Headbangers Ball'- Genius! For some of you that don't know what Castlevania is, that's a video game that nerds like to play. For those of you that do not know what  'Headbangers Ball' is- I'm sorry... MTV used to not suck and they used to play music videos. And on this magical hour on Saturday night they used to play nothing but metal. So I wrote a song about it because I loved it so much. "
