A silent ride is being held in Kalamazoo tonight to honor the victims in yesterday's bicycle accident, Fox 17 reports.

Five people were killed and four people were injured when they were struck by a truck on N. Westnedge Avenue just before 7p.m. Tuesday.

The driver is in custody, awaiting charges.

The silent ride tonight will start at 6p.m. at the Arcadia Brewing Company on E. Michigan Avenue in Kalamazoo. Police and local businesses have been notified. All riders are asked to bring a helmet. More information can found on the event’s Facebook page.
