Silent Hills for Playstation 4 Officially Cancelled [Video]

I have been torn between which current gen gaming console I will purchase someday.

I already own a WiiU and I love that little console, but what about the hardcore gamer in me? When I saw the 'trailer' for Silent Hills, I was pretty much set on the fact that I will be purchasing a Playstation 4.

Then I heard the news this morning, the game is officially cancelled.

How crappy is that?

It is no surprise though as the game was being tag team created by video game legend Hideo Kojima and film buff Guillermo del Toro.

From the looks of the interesting trailer, this game was something to marvel at. It was creepy, scary, and everything that Silent Hill was back in the day. The first game in the series is still the most terrifying game I have ever played to this day, and this one looked like it was going to give it a run for its money.

Even more awesome is that the game was going to star Walking Dead star Norman Reedus!

We'll never see it ever, my eyes have decided to start looking at the Xbox One again. Especially since they announced a re-make of the original Gears of War.
