Side Effects Of Exercise, Miley Cyrus + More – May 3 FBHW Show Recap

FBHW Show

Hour 1
We started the morning talking about some of the really funny moments from the British Invasion videos that have been posted. Day 5′s video is now posted and it’s a long one. Day 6/7 will be posted later today so be sure to catch up! We got the chance to talk to the creator of P90X, Tony Horton, after the show recently. We played back some of the highlights from that interview on the show this morning. While playing this, Zane came across a video of the hottest girl ever doing the hardest push ups ever. You can see that in the Video Reel.

Hour 2
Zane witnessed an awkward interaction at the gym when a gruff woman called a dude out in front of everyone. He left weights on a machine and she was not about to move them herself! Producer Joe told us this morning about the rude Londoner that he and Steve came across while at a pub one night. He was very fast to correct Joe when talking about the currency used in the country. We checked out a video this morning, which you can see in the Video Reel, of a guy getting struck by lightning. We debated whether or not it was real and the decision was split.

Hour 3
We went over a list of the five most terrifying side effects of exercise. We were shocked to see some of the things on the list. See that in the Cool Links section. Brian Williams was on Letterman last night talking about how he found out about Osama Bin Laden being killed. We all agreed that hearing stories like that is extremely interesting. Some traffic cops in LA are in trouble because of something they did that they weren’t supposed to be doing while on the clock. You won’t believe what they got busted for and the overwhelming evidence against them. You can read that in Cool Links.

Hour 4
More and more details have come out in the past 24 hours about the killing of Bin Laden. There are a few different stories about how many times he was shot, but we chose to believe the story of how he was shot twice in the eye. Yesterday, we played the audio of a news anchor Fox News saying that the President was dead, instead of saying Bin Laden was dead. The same anchor screwed up and said it again, so we played the audio this morning. This morning on the show, we talked to Montana Senator and former Seal Team 6 commander Ryan Zinke. He gave us a bunch of insight on what things were like for Seal Team 6, the team that tracked down and killed Bin Laden. If you missed it, you can hear it on the Intervies page.

Hour 5
We played some audio of Steven Tyler on Dateline last night. He talked about how he landed the American Idol gig and also spontaneously broke out in to song a few times. We ended the show by playing the audio of some kid from the early 90′s doing a Christian rap called “Nu Thang”, as well as the audio of Miley Cyrus covering Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. Both sucked. Talk to you Wednesday morning!
