Hey Sahffee,

I've been with my wife for just about 8 years now, married for 1 1/2. She has a great job, she has great benefits and amazing pay with tons of vacation time. However, she HATES it there. Her dream is to go to cosmetology school and we have been trying to figure out how to get her to be able to go there. It's been pushed back multiple times just because the money has not been there, keeping her stuck in her job that she hates. We decided that we would save up the money for the school, be very cheap and not over spend on anything....

Now to the point where I screw up!

I am a gun enthusiast, like big time gun enthusiast. With the talk of the ban on assault rifles I have been nervous about not being able to get one before they are not able to be bought anymore. At the last gun show I went into the event not planning on buying anything, my mind was changed when I found the most beautiful gun ever, a glorious assault rife, tons of accessories, a carrying case, and some ammo. All of that for an amazing price too. My attitude went from not wanting anything, to how pissed is my wife gonna be when I bring this bad boy home!!

Needless to say, I bought the gun..

I walked in the door, gun case in hand, and watched as my wife looked at what was in my hands, asked what I did and how much it was. When I explained how good of deal I got and that it really isn't that much in the grand scheme of things, she started to cry a little and walked out the room, slamming the door as she entered the bedroom.

I put a gun that I wanted in front of my wife being able to leave a job she hates to follow her dreams. Need less to say, I screwed up bad and am in the doghouse. Please HELP!!!
