Sebastian Bach seemed to be having the time of his life in Milan, Italy over the weekend (June 22) at the Gods of Metal Festival. In fact, he was enjoying his set so much that he lost his own microphone in the crowd – if only temporarily.

Bach, known for furiously whipping his microphone around like a lasso during his live shows, lost it – literally – while performing ‘Slave to the Grind.’ Check out the video below to see an enthusiastic Bach whipping the mic around only to find an empty mic chord when he went to sing. Bach stopped the set briefly to get the microphone fixed and picked up where he left off a few minutes later.

Later on in the evening, Bach joined his longtime friend Axl Rose to perform ‘My Michelle’ during the Guns N’ Roses set. Bach kicked off the vocals for the song and Rose soon joined in. The two sang the rest of the song together. If you’re wondering, Bach managed to keep his microphone in tact throughout the song. Watch a fan-filmed video of the performance below.

Bach is no stranger to guest appearances on stage during his own sets either. Just last month, Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor joined Bach to perform the Skid Row classic ‘Youth Gone Wild.’
