Saliva

Saliva fans can rest easy; the band is not breaking up even though frontman Josey Scott left the group he helped start 16 years ago. The Memphis rockers have announced Bobby Amaru as their new vocalist.

BLABBERMOUTH reports that Amaru fronted his own solo band and was the drummer for Burn Season. Saliva have three songs recorded and plan to find a new label. The band is also plotting a tour for February to get fans acquainted with their new vocalist.

Josey Scott left Saliva last October to pursue a solo career in Christian rock. Yeah, I didn't see that coming either. Scott was a founding member of Saliva back in 1996 and has sang on all of the group's seven studio albums to date.
