How does so much sound come from one duo? That's the question often asked when U.K. upstarts Royal Blood turn up at shows.

The pairing of Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher just formed last year, but have built a solid following in their homeland and are now starting to make in-roads in the U.S.

Having just played South by Southwest in Austin, the group will return in May to rock on both coasts. They've got May 12 and 13 dates at Brooklyn's Glasslands and New York's Mercury Lounge, followed by a May 15 show at Los Angeles' Roxy. In addition, the band has confirmed their return on Aug. 2 to play the annual Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.

Lollapalooza is just one of the festivals on the band's docket that will help grow their profile, as they've also signed on for the Download Festival, Rock Werchter, London Calling, the Great Escape and the Reading and Leeds festivals in Europe over the coming months.

The band is supporting their 'Out of the Black' EP, as well as their 'Little Monster' album. The group just released the video for the title track to the 'Little Monster' disc and the performance piece can be seen above. Stay tuned for Full Metal Jackie's interview with Royal Blood's Mike Kerr on 'Loudwire Nights' coming soon.
