When I was a kid, I would stay up for long periods of time and watch a movie on a TV channel. The best movies seem to have been shown on the USA Network, along with TNT.

Before they were all about Drama or whatever, they showed classic movies and retro ones. This is where I saw any Stallone or Schwarzenegger movie.

It's also where I saw, 'They Live.'

'They Live' is a movie about some guy who finds a box full of sunglasses that can see aliens living among normal people, that guy being Roddy Piper.

Just like Hulk Hogan eventually, wrestlers have always experimented in acting, just like the Rock and John Cena have today. Roddy Piper was kind of one of the first to star in his own movie.

This movie is just awesome, hilarious, action packed, and full of hokey acting, but that's what makes it so good. Why is it, that when I see something that is considered crap, I love? I think it's because it has character and it doesn't seem so damn fake like most movies.

The big selling point of this movie is the freakin' long fight scene.

It's pretty well know for how long it is, and how brutal it gets too.

If you're looking for a good way to remember Roddy Piper, here is a good place to start...oh...and his wrestling career too.
