We here at GRD have never witnessed a closer, nail-biting Rocktagon battle than we did between Asking Alexandria and Thirty Seconds to Mars. It looked like 30STM were going to bring it home and put an end to Asking Alexandria's winning streak, but AA fans came through like the clutch sixth man on the bench and secured the band's 16th win in a row. However, the challenge doesn't get easier as Asking Alexandria's next opponent is fellow metal heads Avenged Sevenfold.

"The Death of Me" has been working wonders for Asking Alexandria. The track is taken from the band's third studio album, From Death to Destiny. If you missed AA when they were at The Intersection earlier this year, the closest city they will be at is Chicago, Ill. on October 2.

Avenged Sevenfold will release their brand new album, Hail to the King, this Tuesday (August 27). This is the first album with new drummer Arin Ilejay, who became a permanent member after former Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy filled in for the late Jimmy "the Rev" Sullivan. Listen to the aptly-named song for this occasion, "This Means War," and vote for who you want to win below.
