The Michigan Humane Society is now offering $35,000 to anyone with information regarding the Rottweiler that had his nose and ears cut off.

Last week, the Humane Society was offering a $2,500 reward but because of several generous donations, from all around the country, that reward has jumped to $35K!

The Rottweiler (whose name is now Baron) was found in southwest Detroit with his nose and ears purposely cut off by someone. He also had deep cuts on his tail, which will most likely have to get amputated. The Detroit Free Press says that the Humane Society has been talking with vet schools regarding reconstructive surgery on his nose.

Even though there have been several people already interested in adopting the Baron, it will take weeks to months before he's ready to go to a home.

While details are unknown as to what exactly happened to Baron, the Michigan Humane Society says a human was definitely involved.

A $35,000 reward will be given to someone who can lead to the arrest and conviction of someone in this animal cruelty case.

If you have any information that can help the Humane Society, call their Investigation hotline at (313) 872-3401.
