This year seems like it will be kickin' out zombie games left and right. Let's face it, zombies are pretty kick ass. Why? I don't know....they eat flesh, they are bloody and they kill things....and that is what I consider METAL! On that note, a new Resident Evil game came out on Nintendo 3DS, but portable RE has never really worked out well. Does it in this case?

Lately, I have been playing a lot of good games. Mostly cause I know where to look for the good ones and not the same re-hashed stuff. Resident Evil: Revelations is pretty much THE REASON to buy a 3DS.

Did you like RE 4 and 5? Well if you did, you will like this one. You take control of either character of Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, and a few other characters. Especially these really annoying dudes that will most likely make you throw your 3DS cause they are so annoying. You are investigating a new terrorist group named Veltro and they are threatening to dump a new virus into the ocean thus creating some pretty nasty crazy fish that kill things....go figure. Theory of Evolution? Yea whatever....

The control is pretty good, at first I got confused on how to switch to grenades, but I got over that quickly. This game does support the 3DS' new Circle Pad Pro, but I have yet to use it. From what I hear, it enhances that game even further. Not really a requirement though.

You are not battling zombies in this one, more like some weird dudes that suck your face in. They remind me of the Regenerators from RE 4, but a little less creepy. During the time, you run into advanced versions of these dudes, which can take some heavy gunfire. Better learn to dodge quickly cause you will die.......a lot.

Nothing really bothered me about this game. It has a good storyline, the graphics are AMAZING for a handheld, control is good, and it  feels like old skool Resident Evil. Which is always a good thing.

If you have a 3DS, buy this game right now. Even if you don't like RE, you will start liking it. If you don't have a 3DS, well.....get one and we can Street Pass and whatnot.

Soon I will be giving a review of Sony's PSVITA, so check the site for that soon!
