Resident Evil ‘Remake’ is Getting Remastered for Current Gen Consoles

Resident Evil is one of the best games of all time! The old game may be showing it's age, but we were given the rare opportunity of a full fledged remake of the game on Nintendo Gamecube. The game looked amazing and I consider it one of the best in the series, and was one of the reasons I bought a Gamecube. Resident Evil 'Remake' is making a triumphant return in full HD to the new game consoles!

If you are looking for a game that is TRUE Survival horror, look no further than this game. In a world full of games that is full of fast paced action and shooting everything in-site, this game throws all of that out the window, which just amps the horror up to 100%. The best thing about this game is the atmosphere and graphics. So when I saw the news of this game coming to HD, I got pretty excited.

The game looks amazing already on Gamecube! However, look at the picture below for a side by side comparison.

The HD is on the left and the Gamecube is on the right. The definition and the shading of the characters may be small improvements, but it makes it look more realistic.

The 'Remastered Re-Make' will be released on PS4, PS3 Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. Not WiiU sadly...

No official release date has been set, but I hope the developers of future Resident Evil games take a note on what Resident Evil was, compared to what it is today.

Also, I do have to make this note. If this game is successful, I really hope they consider giving the same treatment to Resident Evil 2 and 3 (specifically 2). RE 2 is my FAVORITE Resident Evil game!
