Being a '90's kid, I can't help but remember my childhood, which felt like it ended on December 31, 1999. After that date, everything felt older ya know?

If you listen to me on air or read any of my blogs, you'll know that I am quite the gamer. Before you were Playstation or Xbox...

You were either Sega or Nintendo.

Being a kid in the '90's was a lot of fun! I didn't have a care in world except wondering if my mom was going to bring me to the video rental store and I could rent a video game.

At the time, I was a pretty big Nintendo fan. Super Nintendo being the console that was my head console. A kid that lived behind me, owned this cool black, sleek looking video game console named Sega Genesis.

He owned this video game called Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and it was a blast! It was super fast and super cool, and I loved it. Like any kid, I proceeded to start asking my parents about Sega Genesis and wondering if we could get one. Today, you could get a Sega Genesis for around $20, but back then, it was around $150 to $200! Start saving your pennies!

This was during the time that Sega was just dominating everything! They had toys, comics, even bubble gum! Sonic & Sega were everywhere!

Since then, Sega has fallen by the wayside.

Listen to kids today though? Most of them have no idea what Sega even is or was, and that's a bummer, but that's how time works.

Sega will always be something I love, and still love today.
