In the midst of such a heated election season, there's no better climate for the return of one of rock's most politically charged bands, Rage Against the Machine. Earlier today, the band showed off a new countdown clock and the hashtag "#takethepowerback".

Although too much traffic has currently overloaded their website, Spin reports that the timer on prophetsofrage.com will end on June 1. Could it be a new album? A tour? Who knows!

Spin also reports that entering your email address on the website gives the reply, "Clear the way for the prophets of rage," a lyric from Public Enemy's song, "Prophets of Rage." Many suspect that this is hinting at a tour with Public Enemy, although nothing is yet confirmed.
