If you were worried about the status of Radiohead's new album, don't be! NME magazine reports that the band is currently in the studio plugging away at new music.

According to NME, guitarist Jonny Greenwood recently spoke with BBC Radio Oxford and said, "We're currently playing and recording and it's fun to see everyone again, it's been a long time coming, we've been waiting all of us for a long time."

He went on, "It always feels when we start up like we still don't know really how to do it, and we don't know quite what to do." Still in the initial stages of recording the album, Greenwood remarked, "'Looking down avenues' is a very kind way of putting the kind of fumbling we do, mainly because every time we try and do it like the last time -- because that worked -- it never seems to work. So we talk about different approaches and we're currently trying a bunch out."

Even with the new album in the works, the members of Radiohead have kept quite busy this year. Frontman Thom Yorke released his second solo album, 'Tomorrow's Modern Boxes,' via BitTorrent, drummer Philip Selway is also celebrating his sophomore effort, 'Weatherhouse' and Greenwood is preparing for the release of the soundtrack for 'Inherent Vice,' a film he scored with Paul Thomas Anderson.
