Muskegon Gets Professional Arena Football Team [Video]

A professional indoor football team is coming to Muskegon.

The West Michigan Ironmen will call the L.C. Walker Arena Home. Coaches and players introduced themselves to the community Thursday morning, WZZM-13 reports. 

The team's first home game is March 20th vs. the Kentucky Nightmare. The Ironmen have seven total home games at L.C. Walker Arena.

Many of the coaches and players introduced Thursday played college or high school football in Michigan.

Head Coach Tyrece Lynk said, "We are in a shoe box playing football. I can tell you it will be exciting, guys going over the boards and into the laps of people, balls going into the stands. If you are a young kid, get ready; parents, get ready -- they are going to want to come and watch."
