Producer Joe Is In London,Mrs. Ten’s Apparent Crush + More – April 26 FBHW Show Recap
We started this morning talking about Wiener 2 and Zane’s recent discussions for him and a few friends to move into his house once he moves. Wiener went through an on-air pre-screen and it seems like he passed! Apparently John Wayne Bobbitt, a guy famous for something pretty bad happening to him in the 1990s, is still alive. He is scheduled to participate in a “celebrity” boxing match against someone who makes sense to be fighting in that crap.
We talked for a minute about Mrs. Ten’s apparent crush on Dr. Stupid that was discovered earlier. Then we finally got to hear from Joe and Steve on their British invasion! Turns out, time change and no sleep will make you tired. A guy tried to kill himself recently by using rodent poison. Turns out, a chemical reaction makes the poison highly flammable. He could breathe fire if he was near a spark! Hot Wings got another chance for legitimate car talk this morning, much to the dismay of everyone associated with the show. We went over Forbes list of the worst car in the United States.
A new video emerged from Britain’s Got Talent with a guy who sings nursery rhymes in a unique way. Big deal. Judges went crazy and the audience loved it. The NFL lockout was lifted by a judge yesterday, but there is so much legal mumbo jumbo that needs to happen, the season still looks iffy at best. You can check both of those stories and videos out in Cool Links. We watched the most recent viral video of a baby laughing when a dog eats bubbles. Someone slowed it down to make it creepy. Thanks. We talked about the recent story of how the iPhone and Android phones can now log your location at all times and whether that was OK.
We checked in with the British Invasion again and found out the cheap hotel in the middle of London wasn’t as nice as online pictures made it seem. During the Free Beer and Hot Wings Report, we talked about gas prices rising and how scooters will probably be making a comeback. Except for Zane’s. Free Beer has a new earworm from a Heineken commercial and it didn’t exactly catch on with the rest of the show. You can see the video and hear the song on the Web Videos page.
We took some calls on Free Beer’s newest favorite song and audience reaction was mixed to say the least. After continued reaction to the song and some more earworm songs, Susan called in and wanted to let us know how disappointed she was. She was not happy with the direction of the programming and may have gotten a healthy beatdown. We finished the show by checking in with Joe and Steve again to try to get Joe on TV. See ya Wednesday!
