Possibly the Most Awkward News Banter Ever [Video]

Fake-friendly banter between newscasters is usually cringeworthy enough on its own.

This exchange between an anchor woman and weather man on NBC 15's morning show in Madison, Wisconsin is extra awkward though. And pretty hilarious. 

The anchor woman appears to have some guests on from an animal shelter. She's petting a beautiful dog and talking about adoption.

When she tries to toss it to the weather man, Charlie Shortino, that's when things get weird:

"I think you two should get a hotel room or something, that's a lot of action going on over there."

Did he really just make a beastiality joke? You betcha. And then he goes on to suggest that the anchor woman probably hasn't gotten any in months.
