A gourmet popcorn shop founded in 2015 in Kentwood has a new home downtown Grand Rapids.

The Grand Rapids Business Journal reports that Mosby's Popcorn is now open inside the Blodgett Building in the Arena District at 15 Ionia Ave. SW.

Co-owners Brian Mosby and Shavyea Mosby tell GRBJ they moved to increase visibility and to be closer in proximity to the events at which Mosby's Popcorn serves as a vendor.

In the new location, Mosby's Popcorn will also be able to expand its line of gourmet popcorn and develop a new menu with various food and popcorn pairings.

According to MLive, the business received a $45,000 grant from the city’s Downtown Development Authority to relocate the shop.

Mosby's Popcorn offers over125 flavors, including caramel, cheesecake, and Grand Rapids Beer Cheese.
