West Michigan's Pop Evil showed a ton of home state love last week!

They rocked an acoustic show in Kalamazoo and became the first band to sell out The Machine Shop in Flint three nights in a row! In addition, Pop Evil got to play during halftime at a Detroit Piston's game!

Check out video from their performance at the Palace of Auburn Hills Jan. 12, 2016!

Frontman Leigh Kakaty talks about being a huge Pistons fan growing up and feeling honored to play at the Palace.

He also discusses Pop Evil Day in Grand Rapids! Pop Evil's new album Up came out August 21, 2015 and Mayor George Heartwell declared the day Pop Evil Day. (Pop Evil went on to rock a show at The Intersection that night, check out video here!)

"It's always humbling to be embraced by your hometown, your home state," Leigh says. "There's a lot of Michigan pride that we have... our whole story has been built around this state."
