Archeologists have found something like 1,500 preserved bodies in the ruins of Pompeii. When Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79CE, a lot of the people in the town were killed so quickly, it's thought they wouldn't have even felt any pain. This guy might have been feeling something else.

Many of the bodies uncovered have shown no signs of anguish or suffering from the eruption of Vesuvius, so it's believed they died so quickly from the ash and hot gas that their organs stopped quicker than their conscious reaction time. They didn't see their death coming.

I'm just hoping this guy at least got to finish before the end. That would suck, otherwise.
