Michigan State Police are investigating three heroin overdoses that occurred over the past week in West Michigan.

According to WZZM-13, the overdoses are reported to have happened Nov. 8 through Nov. 9. Two were in the Grand Haven area and one in Norton Shores.

Police say one overdose victim has been released and two remain in critical condition.

The sale of the heroin is believed to have occurred in Muskegon. The seller has not been identified.

The drug task force and Michigan State Police are continuing to investigate.
