Police Identify Body of Woman Found in Grand Rapids Twp., Teenage Suspect in Custody
The Kent County Sheriff’s Department has identified the body of a woman found in Grand Rapids Township Thursday. Friday morning police announced her identity and that a 16-year-old is in custody in relation to her death.
The woman is now identified as McKenna Elizabeth Hilton, 18. She was a recent graduate of East Kentwood High School. An autopsy will be conducted Friday morning to determine an official cause of death.
Police have arrested a 16-year-old suspect in connection with the death. The teen's name has not been released.
