Pokemon X and Y Are The Best Selling 3DS Games (So Far)…

It comes to no surprise that the brand new Pokemon games are the best selling 3DS games to come out for the 3DS. Nintendo has always been THE KING of handheld gaming, and it shows no sign of slowing down.

Pokemon X and y were released this past Saturday and so far, have reached over 4 million games sold. This does not come to any surprise though...people buy Nintendo hand held consoles just for the fact that the new Pokemon game is bound to arrive soon on the platform. I remember when I got Pokemon Blue WAY BACK in 1995 for Christmas. At that time, it had a small following...but thanks to Nintendo Power Magazine (before Internet was awesome and AOL 56K MODEM!!!)...I was stoked for the arrival of this game.

Like I said, it's not going to slow down...Nintendo has another game up it's sleeve with The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Two Worlds coming soon, and that is going to sell even more 3DS and 2DS consoles. Let's just say, Nintendo knows what they are doing...at least in the hand held market.
