Papa Roach + Seether Announce Co-Headlining 2015 U.S. Tour

Two of rock's powerhouse bands are teaming up to co-headline a U.S. trek in early 2015. Papa Roach and Seether will embark on a trek together in January, and they're bringing support acts Islander and Kyng on the road with them.

The monthong trek kicks off Jan. 9 in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and runs through a Feb. 7 show in Las Vegas, with a Jan. 23 stop in Detroit at The Fillmore.

Tickets go on sale this Friday (Nov. 7), with a presale starting Thursday (Nov. 6).

Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix and Seether bassist Dale Stewart are excited to hit the road.

Shaddix tells us, "It's gonna be bangin', man. I'm excited by the opening bands, too. Kyng were suggested by Seether, and I was like, 'I don't know anything about this band Kyng, let me go check them out.' And they're f--kin' badass. Just a killer band. We picked this band Islander to come out, and they got this song 'Coconut Dracula' that just has a cool vibe. And Seether, you know, these guys just have hit after hit after hit. It's gonna be a great night of rock music."

Stewart adds, "I think it's just a good rock show. Each band on the bill is really good live. Everyone is really gonna bring it. When we play with Papa Roach, we have to try that much harder because they have such a killer live show. I think it's gonna be a lot of good bands and a lot of good music. I think all the bands complement each other really well."

Separately, in a press release, Seether frontman Shaun Morgan says, "We're really looking forward to going back out with our good friends Papa Roach and we're super excited to be bringing out our buddies Kyng and newcomers Islander, too."

Papa Roach will release their new album, 'F.E.A.R.,' on Jan. 27, while Seether will be out in support of their 'Isolate and Medicate' album, which arrived in July of this year. Check out the full list of tour dates below:
