Legendary Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne will be honored at the 10th anniversary MusiCares MAP Fund Benefit Concert on May 12. At the special event, Osbourne will receive the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award for the Sabbath singer's commitment to helping individuals who have struggled with addiction.

Ozzy Osbourne will perform at the 10th Anniversary MusiCares MAP Benefit Concert with his solo band and special guest Slash on guitar. Also, Beastie Boys DJ Mix Master Mike will lend his skills in memory of the late DJ AM.

In 2012, Alice in Chains frontman Jerry Cantrell was given the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award, while Linkin Park / Stone Temple Pilots singer Chester Bennington was honored with the award in 2013.

In addition to Ozzy Osbourne receiving his award, owner / CEO of the Village studios, Jeff Greenberg, will also be honored with MusiCares' From the Heart Award "for his unconditional friendship and dedication to the mission and goals of the organization."

"I know firsthand about the ravages of addiction and I also know that the MusiCares MAP Fund is a vital safety net for people in the music industry who need help with substance abuse," says Osbourne. "This organization literally saves lives."

"Ten years ago MusiCares merged with the Musicians' Assistance Program, originally founded by Buddy Arnold, to create the MusiCares MAP Fund," says Neil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy and MusiCares. "Since then our addiction recovery resources and programs have grown substantially, and this annual benefit provides a meaningful way to recognize artists and industry professionals who are on the front lines in the battle to fight this crippling disease. It's an honor to celebrate Ozzy and Jeff in our 10th anniversary year, and we know it will be an extraordinary evening filled with heartfelt words and serious rock and roll."

Tickets to the Benefit Concert cost a pretty penny, with a 10-person table going for $12,500 and individual floor seats go for $1,250 each. However, you can buy a VIP balcony seat for only $100. For ticket information, contact Wynnie Wynn at 310-392-3777 or wynniew@grammy.com. General admission balcony seats will go on sale March 7 at 10AM PT for just $50 at AXS.com.
