‘Orange is the New Black’ Season 3: Jason Biggs is Not Coming Back, Mike Birbiglia is in, and Other Stuff Binge-Watchers Need to Know

I'm just about to end of season 2 of "Orange is the New Black" and am starting to freak out.

When is the season 3 coming out? How long do I have to wait? Am I ever going to not hate Piper? So many questions.

I had my boyfriend google "when is new season of 'Orange is the New Black' coming out?" at 2 a.m. last night. Because that's how late we're staying up to binge-watch the show. (I know, I have a problem.)

Anyway, I found out some details on the upcoming season, including that Jason Biggs character, Larry, won't be returning.

"They're not focusing on Larry at the moment," he told New York's Daily News. "Larry will not be in season 3. But there's always a possibility he can come back."

Hmm. So will Larry and Polly live happily ever after, the end? I hope not. I kind of hate them both too.

Also, is the franchise "not focusing" on the character, or did they finally get fed up with Biggs' rude tweets?

As for what's new next season, which premiers in June on Netflix, according to Vulture, Mary Steenburgen has joined the cast to play the mother of Mendez, aka Pornstache.

But, Pornstache himself, due to the character's incarceration, might not be around as much.

Which, thank God. I definitely hate him.

According to PopSugar, we'll be seeing more of Alex next season. She was kind of absent from season 2, not being in prison and all. So does she get locked up again or what? I hope so. I kind of hate her too.

If at this point, you're thinking, jeez Janna, why do you watch the show if you hate every character?

Well, that's part of the fun. They're horrible people who think, say, and do terrible things.

And it's terribly entertaining.

And I don't hate everyone. I sort of like the nice, but dumb and confused guard, Bennett, even though he knocked up Diaz. Oh! And the lazy, sarcastic, fake electrician, Luschek. He's alright too.

And I'm pretty sure I'm definitely going to like whatever character Mike Birbiglia is playing! That's right, The Hollywood Reporter confirms he's joining the cast for season 3 too!

I need to June to get here for many reasons: sun, the beach, everyone looks better with a tan-- but mostly, for the new season of "Orange is the New Black"!
