On Thursday there were two shooting incidents on Leonard Street in Grand Rapids within a matter of hours. The first was a drive-by, injuring a 17-year-old and four-year-old.

The second occurred around 10:20 p.m. close to the Shell Station at the corner of Alpine Avenue and Leonard Street. 

WZZM-13 reports that someone fired 8 shots from the bushes near a bar on Leonard near the corner of McReynolds Avenue.

One person walking with a group of people was hit and taken to the hospital. That person is expected to live.
