When I was a kid, they hadn't yet put the "everyone in the class gets a valentine" rule into effect.

So, it was always a horrifying possibility that you'd end up the loser with not one single valentine in your glued together, construction paper-heart mailbox during the class party.

Talk about feeling like total crap.

Well, one teen-aged Romeo decided that no girl at his school would feel that way this Valentine's Day. He made sure all 1,076 girls at Edmond Memorial High School in Edmond, Okla., got valentines.

KFOR-News Channel 4 Oklahoma reported that all the female students at the school were surprised with candy and a special note that read:

Remember, there will always be people who care about you; and I will always be one of them.

Love, Anonymous

Since secrets are especially hard to keep in high school, the sender didn't stay anonymous for long.

Dan Williams was the secret Valentine behind the generous act of kindness.

He told KFOR: “To know that someone cares about them, that’s the best feeling in the world I think.”

Williams had been planning this since last summer, working odd jobs to raise the money for his Valentine's Day surprise.

Williams says he doesn't have a valentine of his own-- yet.

I have a feeling a feeling one of those 1,076 ladies is going snap up this kind-hearted teen Romeo soon.
