Nirvana, Metallica Fans Most Likely to Have Sex on First Date

Guys (and girls), if you're looking for someone who will probably put out on the first date, find out what's in their iTunes collection. A recent survey revealed that people who listen to metal kings Metallica and grunge icons Nirvana are more likely to get it on the first time they go out.

NME reports that a survey conducted by dating site Tastebuds, who matches single people according to their musical preferences, asked users how far they would go on a first date. The answers available were "I'd only meet up for a chat", "Perhaps a kiss", or "I'd go all the way if the mood was right".

Answers were then matched with the survey takers' taste in music. On average, Nirvana fans were the most likely to have sex on the first date, while people who listened to Coldplay were the least likely. I know the Coldplay joke from The 40-Year-Old Virgin is running through your mind right now. If not, it will if you watch the scene below.

Other artists in the "Most Likely" category include Metallica, Gorillaz, Linkin Park and Kanye West, while Adele, Kings of Leon, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry round out the "Least Likely". I guess you have to be patient to have "Sex on Fire" with the person whose pants you're trying to get into.
