This years beginning of E3 was pretty awesome with the return of the legendary Nintendo World Championships.

It had been over 20 years since the original Nintendo World Championships, and Nintendo brought them back this year.

Thanks to it's success, it looks like they are gonna keep things going next year.

According to CNET, Nintendo will be holding a Nintendo World Championships 2016.

This is an entirely fresh announcement, so who knows what games will be played.

However I hope they do expand it this coming year. It was only made available to the US this year and no other countries, which I thought was kind of weird because it's called the 'World Championships.' Maybe nostalgia sells better here in America?

While this announcement is pretty cool, maybe they should focus on a better digital event next year.

Just sayin...
