From the writer of "The Fault in our Stars" and "Paper Towns" comes "Looking for Alaska", the latest of John Green's books to be turned into a movie.

The Michigan Film Office confirmed in a press release Thursday, that "Looking for Alaska" will be filmed in Michigan this fall.

It's anticipated that 300 people will be hired for the cast and crew, with more than 200 expected to be Michigan residents-- and 1,718 extras will be needed too!

Specific shooting locations have not been released yet. If you are interested in working on the film crew, send your resume to lfafeature@gmail.com.

This project is eligible for more than $7 million in incentives, based on an estimated spending of over $21 million, with two-thirds to be spent directly with Michigan residents and Michigan-based vendors, because it was approved prior to the law enacted recently that ended film incentives in Michigan.
