The long-awaited new album from rap rockers Limp Bizkit finally has a release date. After being delayed from it's original 2010 release, Gold Cobra will hit stores in June.

Frontman Fred Durst confirmed the release date on his Twitter page.

"Official release date for LIMP BIZKIT's new album GOLD COBRA is JUNE 7, 2011," Durst tweeted. "Time to fill the void. Accept no substitutes."

Gold Cobra is the follow-up to 2003's Results May Very, and the first with the original lineup since 2000's Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water. The band was supposed to tour last year, which included a stop at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston with Ice Cube, but later pulled the plugged.

"Limp is not an amphitheatre band," Durst tweeted at the time.

Now that Gold Cobra is finally upon us, are you excited?
