Patricia Moore was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 12.

She's had a hard year of chemotherapy and other treatments to fight the tumor in her nervous system. Unfortunately, her doctors are saying there isn't much more they can do for her.

With that absolutely devastating news, Patricia's mother wanted to plan a shopping spree for her daughter just to see her smile. It included getting her nails done.

The entire day of shopping was going to kick off with a visit to a nail salon. That was something most girls her age love to do.

However, she was denied entry at the door of a Palmdale, Calif., nail salon, Queen's Nails, which claimed it could not serve Patricia because of her wheelchair, CBS 2 Los Angeles reported.

The salon's employees later claimed they could not do her nails properly if she could not stand up.

Eventually, they reversed the decision and claimed it was all just a misunderstanding.

An employee apologized to the family and released a statement:

It was never our intention to hurt her feelings in any way. … We hope to move onward and possibly have a positive relationship with this amazing young lady.”

What do you think? Did the business have a legitimate claim that they just couldn't help her in a wheelchair, or are they just being douche bags?
