Muskegon Couple Arrested for Silly String Fight in Walmart

Silly String fights are fun and all... but I wouldn't say worth getting arrested over.

Fox 17 reports that Derek Gomez, 24, and Samantha Christiansen, 26, of Muskegon, were arrested after getting into a Silly String fight in a Mason County Walmart.

The couple couple allegedly used multiple cans without paying for them, and trashed several of the store's aisles.

When employees demanded they pay for the Silly String, the two left the store. Police were called and arrested the couple.

Gomez and Christiansen are charged with retail fraud for stealing products worth up to $200 from a store.

They could get 93 days in jail, or have to pay a fine up to $500 or three times the value of the stolen items.

Silly String runs about $3 a can.
