Cleveland, OH industrial metal group Mushroomhead has finally announced their new album and is set to release in May! Mushroomhead's last album named 'Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children' came out in in 2010.

This is the first album to feature the all new members, and of course the return of original vocalist J-Mann. Many could consider the title of the album 'strange,' but you need to understand why the record is titled this. In an interview with co-founded of the group, drummer Steve 'Skinny' Felton:

"J.J. was a key member of our band. He played on the first three records and Vanessa was our photographer and the mother of my children. They were both huge pieces of Mushroomhead and this record is dedicated to them."

Also according to Skinny, since J-Mann is in the band and the celebration of their 20th Anniversary, they are looking at getting back to their roots.

The album is due out on May 13 and Mushroomhead is also looking to tour extensively in 2014 for support of the new album!

Before the album was announced, check out my interview with them when they were last here at The Intersection.
