Pop-punk veterans Motion City Soundtrack have dropped a brand new song for fans to hear. "Inside Out" is officially released tomorrow (September 17) but you can stream the song in its entirety after the jump.

Motion City Soundtrack explored dark themes with their last album, 2012's Go, but seemed to have lighten up this time around. "Inside Out" is chock full of blistering guitar riffs and chaotic but controlled drums. Of course the Minneapolis, Minn. natives include their trademark synth elements on the track.

"'Inside Out' is how we're feeling these days," frontman Justine Pierre tells Rolling Stone. "We have all this creative energy clawing to get out and a sudden overabundance of material. We've upped the tempos from our last endeavor a bit and are focusing on having fun and making rock. This song came together incredibly fast, from inception to completion, and we couldn't wait to put it on an album. So here it is."

Motion City Soundtrack will co-headline The Intersection in downtown Grand Rapids with Bayside on October 17. Tickets are on sale at the Intersection box office and SectionLive.com.
