Can you imagine having one full size crocodile living in your home? How about 150?

Last week over 150 crocodiles, alligators, and caimans were rescued from a home in Toronto where a man had been illegally keeping them as pets, ABC News reports.

The reptiles have been transported to the a rescue facility and animal sanctuary, The Indian River Reptile Zoo.

The zoo's curator,  Bry Loyst said, "Interestingly enough, this individual phoned our rescue and told us he could no longer take care of the 150 crocodiles, alligators and caimans. I didn't really believe it, but when I went over there, sure enough, it was true."

The animals, all adults between 4 and 11 feet, had been kept in the home for over ten years.

Loyst said, "He did the wrong thing by buying these crocodiles, he did the idiotic thing by buying 150 of them, but he did the right thing by donating the money and animals to a proper place that can care for them."
