Michigan Woman Assaults Boyfriend With a Fish

A fight between a Whitehall man and his girlfriend ended with the woman attacking the man with a fish, according to police.

The man was drawing a picture of a mounted sailfish in his home when his girlfriend got angry and moved the fish, according to Whitehall police. The fish mount then fell over and broke when she left the room. When she came back into the room, she thought her boyfriend was responsible for the broken fish and began hitting him on the head with it and poking him with its nose.

The boyfriend received a cut on his hand during the altercation. Alcohol was involved in the incident, but the girlfriend was not arrested due to a health issue.

The Muskegon County prosecutor will review the case to determined if charges will be filed.
