Michigan State Health Physicist Charged with Beastiality

Michigan State University is in a bizarre spot light again with a health physicist being charged with bestiality. Investigators were tipped off by a strange Craigslist ad.

According to WZZM, a Holt man has now been charged with sodomizing a basset hound after a citizen reported a weird Craigslist ad titled "Restless".

The ad read: "Anyone have a restless dog or horse that needs occupied for a while? I love playing with them. Preferably not fixed but either is fine, male animals preferred."

Charges have been filed against 51-year-old Joseph Alan Hattey after an Ingham County Animal Control officer tracked down the person who placed the ad. That person had reported seeing Hattey having sex with a dog back in January.

Investigators found a plethora of human and animal acts photos on Hattey's home computer that included him having sex with a dog.

Hattey, works as a health physicist for Michigan State Universities Environmental Health and Safety office and used tow ork for the schools Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory has been charged with two counts of sodomy and for committing a crime against nature.

Investigators say that Hattey did not commit any of the acts on the Michigan State University campus.

There has been no comment from Michigan State University officials.
