Metallica has been loose on Europe over the summer, as they like to escape from the studio in the summers to play shows in front of hundreds of thousands of people at a time, and have some fun. Who can blame them, right? Well, this summer, they also played a couple shows in Quebec City before wrapping up the summer tour.

On September 14th, Metallica played one of my favorite songs from the Death Magnetic album, 'All Nightmare Long', the nine minute song that's only a few tracks in. Cool song, and was originally called 'Flamingo', since some of the riffing was inspired by Robert Trujillo's Flamenco guitar studies.

Metallica is still one of the best bands to see live, with so much energy, and great show, and they always have different stages to wander around on. Over the two Quebec shows, they played with a regular end stage, and also in the round, just to have fun.

Enjoy this pro audio recording of this song, and you can also back up to the beginning to see some meet and greet stuff with Lars, and some jam room warm up stuff.
