The music landscape in Detroit is about to get a lot louder this June. Metallica are bringing their Orion Music + More Festival to Belle Isle, along with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rise Against, electronic artist Bassnectar and more.

Metallica announced that the second installment of Orion would take place in Detroit back in December, but didn't reveal details about the exact venue or lineup until now. As with last year's festival in New Jersey, the roster isn't just made up of metal and hard rock acts.

Also on deck for Orion 2013 are Dropkick Murphys, Silversun Pickups, Gypsy punk outfit Gogol Bordello, U.K. indie rockers Foals, Welsh alt-rock act The Joy Formidable and Detroit's own the Dirtbombs. 31 artists in total will take over five stages at Belle Isle June 8-9 in the Motor City. See the full lineup announcement below.

Orion Music + More also features a lifestyle element that reflects each of Metallica's many personal interests. Detroit will see the return of James Hetfield's Custom Car & Motorcycle Show, Kirk Hammett's Crypt, Lars Ulrich's Hit the Lights Film Tent and Robert Trujillo's Vans Vert Ramp alongside the Metallica Museum and many other attractions.

Pre-sale starts February 26 at 10AM for Metallica MetClub members at a discount rate of $125 for a two-day pass. Weekend passes go on sale to the general public March 1 at 10AM at the festival's official website for $150.

What do you think? Will you make the trek out to Detroit for Orion Music + More?
