Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich might move back to his native Denmark if Donald Trump becomes president.

Plenty of musicians have spoken out against Donald Trump this election season. Corey Taylor called Trump’s message “anti-Slipknot,” Slayer’s Kerry King dubbed the businessman the biggest liar he’s seen in politics, Tom Morello compared Donald to a frat-house rapist and musicians like Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder have denounced Trump during concerts.

Lars Ulrich seems to be the latest rocker to come out as anti-Trump. During an interview with Ekstra Bladet, Lars spoke about his inability to vote in the United States. “I am a hundred percent Danish citizen. I pay taxes in the United States, but I can not vote,” Ulrich said. When asked if he would return to Denmark, Lars replied that he does sometimes think of moving back. “I'll stick to my Danish passport,” Ulrich replied. “If Trump becomes president and everything goes to s—t, I might make my way to the airport and ask if I can get back in again." In a recent interview with BBC 6 Music, James Hetfield spoke about avoiding political issues in Metallica’s music. "That just seems to polarize people even more,” James said. “We all have our own beliefs, but at the end of the day, we're trying to connect with people and it seems like political views don't do that as much as music does."

Metallica’s highly-anticipated 10th studio album, Hardwired… to Self-Destruct, will come out Nov. 18.
